Columbia at Capitol View

Built in 1948, this historic mixed income housing community is made up of 120 one- and two-bedroom apartments across 10 residential buildings along the Atlanta BeltLine. Columbia Residential purchased the property in August 2018 and utilized federal historic renovation tax credits (HTC) as just one part of the $27 million acquisition and renovation of the existing property. All households were relocated temporarily onsite to vacant units for approximately 4 months while apartments were under construction in 3 phases. Relocation project was completed in December 2020.
